Website
We were asked to create a website to showcase our work. I arrived at the point where the rest of my class had already been shown through some online examples of how to create a portfolio site using programs such as WIX however going the corse halfway through left me in the deep end pretty much so i choose the hunt around and i ended up finding Behance Prosite.
Behance Prosite
this is a sister site from Behance which i already used to publish my online work to anyway. The idea is that you create a layout and enter your details to leave the website looking like your own.. however i didn't like the look of the basic layouts and just having my name as a header for the site so i decided to create a logo seen as though the website is pretty much self promotion.
Logo
I used a subtle blend transaction to enter the website the minimal and clean look will only further look better as more work is added. I feel the feel and look of the portfolio site worked perfectly. The only problem i had was i wanted it to be assessable on mobile phones such as the iPhone to allow it to be seen at a broader and larger scale.
The app button.
i looked further into the software and saw that with the right imagery and specs i was able to edit the homepage button which was created whenever someone saved the webpage to their home screen including that of the iPhone.
I used my logo as the main point of the app button and just edited the scale and resolution to cater for the resolution changes from devices the end product looked like this.

Now that a logo had been thought up and perfected i carried on to create the website. I choose a dark background and a light grey to use for fonts and other details.
The website.
Uploading some work to the server the website began to take form ending up looking like this.
